Home remodeling from top to bottom in St. George...
When Adam and Colleen Rue decided on a home remodeling and renovation and an update the rec room in their St. George home, they knew just who to call. Heidi Berlin at the Flooring Studio in St. George had already remodeled their kitchen and master bedroom and they knew they could count on her to get the job done.
“We originally used the room as a workout room and had gym equipment in there but we wanted to turn it into space where the kids could watch TV, do homework and hang out with friends,” Colleen said. “We’d used Heidi and the Flooring Studio for two other home renovation projects and we knew she would do a great job with this new project.”
The job would require removing walls, adding new flooring, new baseboards and trim, building shelving units, drywall work, and painting.
It would mean the coordination of at least a half dozen sub-contractors but Adam and Colleen weren’t worried at all about the timing of the project.
“Heidi and The Flooring Studio are fantastic,” said Adam. “Heidi’s ability to coordinate the construction is amazing. She’s the only general contractor I’ve known who gets all her subcontractors to show up when they say they will. One right after another, they come in, get their work done and the very next day, the next sub is on your doorstep, ready to start.”
And the Rues couldn’t be happier with the finished product.
“Heidi did a fantastic job,” Adam said. “The work was done in just a few days and the kids were up there doing homework the very next week.”
Through their home remodeling and renovation projects, the Rue’s have added innovative touches to their home, including herringbone tile backsplashes and a number of other design choices. “Heidi does such a great job of pointing you towards design choices that really reflect your personal style. She gets to know you and what you like and don’t like and can really bring it all together in such a beautiful way,” Colleen said. “She is truly a fantastic amazing designer.”
With the completion of this most recent project, the Flooring Studio and Heidi Berlin have now renovated almost half of the square footage in the Rue’s St. George home.
“There’s a reason we keep going back to Heidi Berlin,” said Adam. “She’s simply the best.”
